About me

I'm a software engineer with a background in design, based out of Nashville, TN. What keeps me interested is the seam between the two. I like translating what a project needs into something that's technically feasible, developer-friendly, and grounded in strong UX.

    Joined full-time, cutting my teeth on client applications across healthcare and finance.

  2. 2022-2024

    Consultant II, InfoWorks

    Took on bigger builds, including a compliance platform used by thousands of people.

  3. 2024-Present

    Senior Consultant, InfoWorks

    Leading full-stack projects end to end, from architecture through client-facing UI.

Most of that work leans on React, Angular, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server, with Figma in the mix for client-facing prototyping. The projects have ranged from that compliance platform, to an ROI calculator built from one codebase with two build targets, to a document management system with bulk Excel workflows for a global financial client. Outside of client work, I like building things just to understand how they fit together. My projects page has a storefront I built to learn headless commerce: Astro for the front end, Sanity for content, and Snipcart for cart and checkout. It's modeled on a real ultralight backpacking brand, so I could focus on the stack instead of inventing a catalog from scratch.

When I'm not writing code, I'm usually out with a camera. I keep a running photography gallery here. Design, photography, and code all scratch the same itch for me: paying attention to composition, light, and detail, whether that's a landscape or a layout.
